Having only recently purchased their relatively newly built home on the outskirts of Wetherby, our clients young family was growing quickly, and so too was their need for some added space.
Our clients loved their home and its setting, but felt it really lacked the grandeur of a statement principal bedroom. jkt Architecture worked alongside our client to develop a truly bespoke principal bedroom, incorporating a separate dressing room and ensuite, that occupied the whole of a newly developed second floor.
The proposed scheme overhauled the existing loft space with 2 moderately sized dormer windows to the front and a large vaulted pitched roof to the rear incorporating a recessed balcony and glazed wall façade to provide the new bedroom with a private and tranquil outdoor space for our clients.
