JKT Architecture were appointed to assist with the transformation of this beautiful detached period property in the outskirts of Yorkshire.
Our client approached us with the desire to modernise the existing layout of the building and add a significant extension to the rear of the property to enable an open-plan, spacious living environment.
JKT Architecture successfully negotiated this challenging scheme through planning to add an enormous 80m2 rear extension to the back of the property which provides an open-plan kitchen, living, dining area and cinema room, separate utility and a boot room entrance. JKT Architecture worked closely with the client to incorporate key architectural features throughout the scheme both internally and externally including, split internal levels, exposed oak trusses and and oak frame entrance porch.
Friendly and professional approach with excellent communication from start to finish. Would highly recommend John to others without hesitation
John has completed drawings for our loft conversion and various other alterations for a domestic renovation project. The service has been impeccable!
He attended site and conducted a detailed survey, pointing out potential issues and giving sound guidance. From then he produced a set of drawings that accurately reflected, and enhanced our intent.
John was very helpful, proactive and responsive through the entire experience and we would suggest no one else.
John has been brilliant throughout the project. He has been approachable, professional, and very knowledgeable. We’ve had clear communication at every stage and we would definitely use them again.
